Evansville Recap
Bradley fell to Evansville 1-0 on Friday, Oct. 27 at Arad McCutchan Stadium.Â
Bradley Notes
Honoring our Braves: Bradley will honor graduating players during the game against Western Michigan. The list of players includes
Patrick Fishburne,
Jackson Fyda,
Camden Kowalski,
Alex Nicastro and
Pepe Mellado. There will be free admission to everyone attending the game.
Out of the MVC Tournament: After their recent 1-0 defeat against Evansville on Oct. 27, Bradley finds themselves in a challenging position with no opportunity to qualify for the tournament. Even if Bradley secures a win and both of their competitors, Evansville and NIU, face losses, Bradley's direct losses to both teams provide Evansville and NIU with the advantage needed to secure a playoff spot.
Western Michigan Notes
Previewing the Broncos: Western Michigan averages 2.43 goals per game as they have scored 39 goals in 16 games this season. Dylan Sing leads the team with 14 goals and three assists, while Charlie Sharp closely follows with 11 goals and six assists. On the defensive end, the Broncos have allowed 13 goals during the regular season.
Unbeaten in the MVC: The Broncos are the only unbeaten team in the Missouri Valley Conference with a record of 6-0-1. The only draw this season was against Evansville by a score of 2-2 on October 7. Western Michigan wants to finish the season unbeaten against Bradley. In Western Michigan's first season in the MVC, the Broncos clinched at least a share of the MVC Regular Season Championship after defeating Belmont 5-0 on Oct. 27.
