Box Score PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley women's basketball lost to the University of Missouri-Kansas City, 73-66. This was the first regular-season game for the Braves.
It was a tight first half. The first quarter ended 15-13 with the Roos leading as the teams went into halftime with Kansas City on top 31-29. Throughout the first half, the largest lead was the Roos by five points. In her first regular season game as a Brave, Junior
Kaylen Nelson led Bradley in points with eight and assists with three entering halftime. Nelson was also dominant at the line, shooting 4-4 on her free throw attempts. Sophomore
Reagan Barkema led the defensive charge for the Braves, snagging three defensive rebounds, four total, as well as three steals.

Ruba Abo Hashesh fouled out for Bradley. Nelson continued to have an incredible game, recording 23 points in the second half. Despite the Braves loss, in her regular season Bradley debut, Nelson recorded the most points in a single game since 2021 with 31.
