Last Time Out
Another school record was captured last weekend and history was made by
Wilma Nielsen. Nielsen competed in the Dr. Sander Invitational hosted by Columbia College in New York City. Nielsen captured the school record in the Women's 1000m race with a time of 2:38.95.
Nielsen's time also ranks her second all-time in NCAA history in the women's 1000m race category and she just barely missed breaking the Sweden record time in the race as well.
The rest of the track & field team traveled to Bloomington, Indiana for the IU Relays.
Julia Nielsen took home first place in the Women's 800m race with
Tiana LoStracco finishing right behind taking second place.
