Diamondhead, Miss. -- The Bradley Men's Golf team finished sixth at the Gulf Coast Collegiate hosted by Nicholls State.
In their second tournament of the spring season, the men's golf team picks up their highest-placed finish since the Derek Dolenc in September. The team compiled scores of 302-302-297 for a tournament total of 901.
Kirkham Leads The Way
Senior
Josh Kirkham led the way for the Bradley Braves with two, under-par rounds. Throughout all three rounds, Kirkham carded 10 birdies and one eagle. The eagle came in his final round on the first hole, a 522-yard par five.
Kirkham saved his best round for the final round where he carded a four-under-par, 68. Kirkham picked up a top 10 finish with a fifth-place result.
Freshman
Connor Hamm picked up a top 20 finish as he landed in 15th with a three-round total of 225. Hamm used opening rounds of 73 and 71 on the first day of play to propel himself into the top of the leaderboard. On Tuesday, Hamm finished with an 81 in the final round.
Senior
Roy Radke finished with a three round total of 230. Radke finished with rounds of 79-75-76 for a 29th place finish.
Grad transfer
Luke Armbrust finished tied for 30th after rounds of 79-79-73.
Senior
John Stillman wrapped up the team scoring with a three round total of 240 after rounds of 81-79-80.
Senior
Nick Armbrust played in the tournament as an individual. Armbrust finished with a three-round score of 248.
