Bradley will head over to Champaign to face the Illinois Fighting Illini in a single-game, non-conference showdown. The Braves and Fighting Illini have met 18 times, and Illinois leads the overall series 12-6. Illinois has won the past eight matchups, the most recent being in 2018.

BRADLEY BRAVES
The Braves are 10-17 on the season thus far. The team recently traveled to Evansville to open up conference play and won the series 2-1. After being defeated 5-4 in eight innings, the Braves would defeat the Purple Aces 8-0 in six innings and 2-0 in the final game of the series. Camryn Schaller made three appearances over the weekend series against Evansville, throwing 13.1 innings. Schaller made a start in the circle for the Braves in the second game of the series, throwing a complete-game shutout to help the Braves win 8-0 in six innings. She collected 11 strikeouts while only walking three and giving up four hits. Schaller would also start the final game for Bradley on Sunday, once again tossing a complete-game shutout in the team's 2-0 win. She struck out seven and walked three. Her final weekend stats were 13.1 IP, 0.00 ERA and 18 strikeouts, giving her a season ERA of 2.76. Grace French continued to show why she is one of the most dangerous hitters in the conference. The grad student hit .300 over the weekend, collecting one double and one home run while scoring four runs and knocking in two RBIs. French is also tied for first in the NCAA for doubles with 14. She is fifth in the conference in batting average, second in slugging percentage, third in on-base percentage, sixth in runs scored, third in hits, tied for fifth in RBIs, first in doubles, tied for sixth in home runs and first in total bases.

ILLINOIS FIGHTING ILLINI
The Fighting Illini come into the weekend with a record of 17-9. The team finished third in the Big Ten last year, going 34-22 overall and 15-7 in conference. Illinois is 3-2 in their last five games, most recently losing two games against Missouri. The Fighting Illini have a duo of players hitting over .300 on the season: Kelly Ryono and Avrey Steiner. They have a combined 56 of the team's 177 hits and 25 of the 89 RBIs. Sydney Sickels leads the Fighting Illini in the circle with an ERA of 2.11.
