The Braves finished their season series against Illinois State with a game at Marian Kneer Stadium in Normal, losing 10-2. 

The Redbirds got the game started in the bottom of the first, scoring five runs and prompting a pitching change from Camryn Schaller to Grace French. Illinois State tacked on another run in the bottom of the second to take a 6-0 lead and then three more in the bottom of the fourth to make the game 9-0. Bradley would get on the board in the top of the fifth. Back-toback singles from Allie Paregien and Anglea Cirone brought Olivia Bradley to the plate. Bradley singled up the middle, sending Paregien home to score while runners ended up on second and third. French then grounded into a fielder's choice, allowing Bradley to score on the play to make the game 2-9. The Redbirds collected a single run in the bottom of the fifth to enact the run rule, ending the game with a score of 10-2 in favor of ISU. Paregien, Cirone, Bradley, Lauren DeRolf and Austin Comstock account for the five Bradley hits, each tallying a single in the game. Camryn Schaller threw 1/3 of the inning the begin the game, giving up five runs on two hits and walking four. French took over in the circle, throwing 2 2/3 innings while allowing four runs on seven hits. Abbott Badgley finished the game for the Braves as she went 1 1/3 innings, giving up one run and three hits. 

Bradley will return home to face Valparaiso in a weekend series beginning on Friday.
