BRADLEY BRAVES
The Braves are 10-32 overall and 2-13 in conference thus far. The team recently finished its season series against Illinois State with a game in Normal, falling 2-10 in five innings. Grace French, Lauren DeRolf and Austin Comstock are leading the Braves on offense, all hitting over .300. French is also tied for first in the NCAA for doubles with 16. DeRolf and French's names can also be found in multiple top ten categories for statistics in the MVC, including: batting average, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, runs scored, hits and RBIs. French, Bailey Sample and Abbott Badgley are tied for the team lead in home runs with four each. On the pitching side, Camryn Schaller leads the Braves with an ERA of 3.73 and is top 10 in strikeouts (8th, 77). Jordy van der Werf is also tied for first in the nation for runners caught stealing with 19.

VALPARAISO BEACONS
The Beacons come into the weekend with a record of 5-29 overall and 1-12 in conference. The team finished last in the MVC last year, going 14-33 overall and 5-22 in conference. Valparaiso is 1-4 in its last five, having been swept by Murray State and splitting two games with Northern Illinois. The Beacons are led offensively by Regi Hecker and Taylor Herschback, who are both hitting over .264 this season. They have a combined 47 hits and 14 RBI. Easton Seib leads the Beacons in the circle. Seib has an ERA of 5.23 and has 44 strikeouts on the season.
