Coal Valley, Ill. -- The Bradley Men's Golf team wraps up their season with a fourth-place finish at the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament.
At six-over-par for the tournament, Bradley Men's Golf takes fourth at Oakwood Country Club in the 2023 MVC Tournament.
Illinois State won the tournament finishing 13 strokes ahead of second-place finisher Valparaiso.
Roy Radke led the Braves finishing tied for third at five-under-par for the three-day tournament. Radke used rounds of 69 and 67 in the final two rounds. The senior opened the tournament with a 72 and finished with a three-round score of 208.
Josh Kirkham headlined the Braves in the second round when he broke the school record for the lowest 18-hole score. The Austin, Texas native fired a 65 in the second round. On the day, Kirkham carded seven birdies, five of them coming on the back nine. Kirkham finished tied for fifth with an opening round 73 and a final round score of 71.
Grad transfer
Luke Armbrust got off to a hot start and was in third place after the first round when he fired a 68. Armbrust followed his 68 with rounds of 74 and 76. Armbrust finished tied for 23rd.
Freshman
Connor Hamm ends his freshman season tied for 40th in the conference tournament. The Macomb native opened with a 75 in the first round and followed that with consecutive 74s.
John Stillman rounded out the scoring for the Braves in a tie for 46th. Stillman carded rounds of 75, 77 and 78.
All-Conference Honors
Both Radke and Kirkham earned All-Conference honors. Kirkham was a coach's selection before the tournament and Radke made the All-Conference team for his play this week.
