Peoria, IL. One of Bradley's 23 newcomers for the 2023 Soccer season will get a chance to shine on the national stage as Yohance Douglas received his call up to the Guyana National team.

Bradley's very own Yohance Douglas received the call every young soccer player dreams of when Guyana invited the soon-to-be Bradley sophomore to their 2023 Gold Cup training camp earlier this summer. As It turns out, Douglas wouldn't have to wait long to appear on the full senior team as it was announced earlier today via the Guyana Football Federation Facebook page that he was named to the 18-man squad for Guyana's international friendly against Ethiopia. The match will be played tomorrow, August 2nd 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at Segra Field in Leesburg, Virginia.

Leading up to his national team call-up, Douglas had previously played at Marist College, as well as making two appearances for the Guyana U-20 National Team. In high school, Douglas was named a Section 1 Class AA All-Section player in 2019 and 2021 while at Ossining High School in New York (no 2020 season due to COVID-19).
