PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley Softball begins its fall exhibitions with four opponents on the schedule, second-year head coach Sarah Willis announced Thursday.
To kick off the fall season, the Braves will play Lake Land College at the EastSide Centre in East Peoria, Illinois, for a doubleheader on Sept. 16 at 1 p.m.
Bradley will travel across the Illinois River for two games at Illinois Central College at 2 p.m. on Sept. 24.
Closing out September, Bradley has a doubleheader versus Parkland College on Sept. 29 at 5 p.m. at Metamora High School.
On Oct. 1, the Braves will play a doubleheader versus Des Moines Area Community College at 1 p.m. in Glasford at Illini Bluff High School.
"This year I am excited to announce that we are traveling off site to our neighboring communities in the Peoria area," said Willis. "We will be playing our fall exhibition games at local high schools to better connect our program with youth softball. We are hoping to inspire and familiarize the Peoria community with our hard-working group of student-athletes and drum up some excitement for the future 2024 season."
