PEORIA, Ill. -- After coming off a third place finish in their first tournament, the Braves found themselves settling for 13th in the Derek Dolenc Invitational hosted by SIUE.
Tournament Recap
The Braves found themselves 17 over-par, for a team score of 869. The Braves stayed consistent while putting a 291 (+7) in the first round, followed by a 290 (+6). Similar to last weekend, the third round was their best round with a team score of 288 (+4).
The Braves come in one stroke behind Bellarmine, who shot a 868(+16).
Freshman Carter Stevenson had a standout performance. In just his second tournament for Bradley, Stevenson found himself in the top ten, finishing in sixth place in the tournament.
Stevenson finished the weekend eight-under-par for a tournament score of 205. He shot a 68 (-3) in the first round, followed by a 67 (-4) and a 70 (-1).
With his performance, Stevenson now holds the lowest 54 hole score by a freshman surpassing Drake Bushong's 2015-16 record of 212. Stevenson now himself tied for first with the lowest 54 score hole in Bradley history with 205.
Connor Hamm found himself T31, shooting a total 214 (+1), with his best round coming in the second, shooting 68 (-3).
