Bradley Women’s Basketball Welcomes Signing Class of 2025

Peoria, IL -- The Bradley Women's Basketball program has signed two international students to join the Braves for the 2025-26 season. 

Head Coach Kate Popovec-Goss has landed herself two new signees in G Maya Foz and C Anya Coulibaly Garcia on National Signing Day this year. 

"We are excited to welcome two awesome Braves in the early signing period!  We wanted to add another skilled big to the roster, while bolstering our backcourt with athleticism and versatility," said Popovec-Goss. "Not only do Anya and Maya fulfill our roster needs, but both come from championship basketball clubs.  This competitive background is a highly valued intangible in our student-athletes."

Maya comes to Bradley from the Fort Erie International Academy, one of the top prep programs in Canada. She also comes from a basketball background, which has helped 

mold her into the strong player that she is on the court. 

"The thing that drew us to Maya was her innate toughness and competitive drive.  She has a high motor, and stuffs that stat sheet on both ends," said Popovec-Goss. "She defends and rebounds at a high level, and loves to convert her defense into transition offense.  Her high IQ and grittiness is exactly what we need, and we can't wait to get her to campus.

Anya Coulibaly Garcia Committed

Coulibaly Garcia comes to the Braves from Sabadell, Spain which is located right outside of Barcelona. Anya has played on the Spanish National Team and has the winning mentality that the Braves are looking to add, as she has won a Spanish National Championship.

"She's a versatile post threat, who is comfortable facilitating on the perimeter and can score on the block," said Popovec-Goss. "We love passing bigs with high IQs, and Anya has executed this role for her entire career.  She will seamlessly mold into our offensive system, and we are thrilled she chose Bradley!"
