Peoria, Ill. - The Bradley Braves beat the IU Indy Jaguars 72-47 on Thursday during Bradley's annual Field Trip Day.
Soleil Barnes had an outstanding game, leading the team with 20 points, six rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Caitlin Washington was second on the team in points with eight while totaling two rebounds. Ellie McDermid led the team in blocks with two while also putting up six boards, two assists, and four points.
The Braves never trailed as they went on an eight-point run to begin the game. Bradley played a great defensive first quarter, holding the Jaguars to just six points through the first 10 minutes. The Braves also outscored IU Indy in every quarter.
