Peoria, Ill. - The Bradley Braves lost 62-41 to the Western Illinois Leathernecks on Sunday in their second game of the homestand.
Claire McDougall had a standout game, putting up 13 points, four rebounds, an assist, and a block. Ruba Abo Hashesh led the team in assists with four while totaling two boards. Amy O'Hara led the team in rebounds with six while putting up two steals and two points.
The Braves went down early after being given an administrative technical foul before the game started. The Leathernecks took a 1-0 lead after they made the free throw. Bradley held Western Illinois to their second-lowest score this season at 62 points, showcasing great defensive play, especially in the third quarter when the Braves held them to just eight points.
