Peoria Ill. - The Bradley Braves came back from a 13-point deficit to defeat the Northern Kentucky Norse on Wednesday to conclude their second homestand.
The Braves had a slow start, only coming up with eight points in the first quarter to the Norses' 19, but they outscored Northern Kentucky in the next three quarters to take the win 62-57. Heading into the fourth quarter, Bradley was down 42-40, but a free throw late in the fourth by O'Hara gave the Braves the lead and they didn't give it up for the rest of the game.
Soleil Barnes had an outstanding game, putting up 16 points, six rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Tamia Perryman also had a standout performance, totaling 11 points, three assists, a board, and a steal. Amy O'Hara led the team in rebounds with eight while totaling six points, a block, and a steal.
