Peoria Ill. - The Bradley Braves secured a 75-57 victory over the Chicago State Cougars on Tuesday, winning their second consecutive game.
The Braves outscored the Cougars in all four quarters and showcased their strong defense in the fourth, holding them to just nine points to secure the win. Bradley did a great job of getting the ball in deep, scoring 32 of their points in the paint and grabbing 13 points off of rebounds.
Soleil Barnes didn't slow down after being named the Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week, putting up 19 points, six rebounds, seven assists, and a steal. Amy O'Hara had a standout game, totaling 14 points, seven boards, four blocks, two steals, and an assist. Kaylen Nelson and Claire McDougall also put up double-digit points, combining for six rebounds and four assists.
