PEORIA, Ill. – Get to know more about Bradley Soccer Jared Sinnaeve.

He started playing soccer when he was six years old. He played for Campton United Soccer Club his entire career before playing Division I.

During his free time, Sinnaeve enjoys staying active and practicing other sports.

"During preseason the past few years, or even during our downtime, me and the boys, we like to go golfing," Sinnaeve said."I learned to appreciate golf throughout my college experience. It is a tough sport, but I enjoy playing golf. I also played volleyball and basketball growing up alongside soccer,"

Sinnaeve is always eager to expand his horizons, spending his free time soaking up knowledge on different subjects.

"I'm definitely a science nerd. I love science so much," Sinnaeve said. "I love to find out how the body works and what goes on inside the body all the way down to a cellular level. It just intrigues me a lot,"

Sinnaeve has a passion for traveling and getting to know new cultures worldwide.

"I went to Dubai over winter break for New Year's in 2019," Sinnaeve said. "It was unreal, the food was different but in a good way, it was great, the architecture there is out of this world, it is just a different culture there, and it was great to see that and kind of dive into a different place."

After three years playing as a Brave, Sinnaeve shared his favorite memory at Bradley.

"The Danny Dahlquist game against Mercer that was pretty exciting for me, getting on the ESPN Top 10, that was very exciting for me, that was a big moment," Sinnaeve said. "Especially since it was during Danny's game, it was great to score in that special game,"

As a senior now, Sinnaeve is one of the experienced leaders for the young players on the roster.

"It feels good because I came in not knowing a lot, and time flies, and now I'm here senior year, and it is kind of crazy, but I'm excited to show the newcomers the ins and outs of Bradley," Sinnaeve said. "It is more exciting in my eyes just to pass down the insights of all Bradley Soccer."

Sinnaeve has personal goals for next season and unfinished business in the Missouri Valley Conference.

"I want to have a positive winning record. I want to have more wins than losses," Sinnaeve said. "I want to beat Missouri State. My whole career at Bradley, we haven't scored a goal on them, so we need to score a goal on them before I leave."

For Sinnaeve, representing Bradley means more as he is representing a family legacy.

"It feels really good. My dad went here, so being able to represent his alma mater and all the people here through sport. I take a lot of pride in doing it. I love it here." Sinnaeve said.
