PEORIA, Ill. – The Braves dropped the final game of the series to the Illinois State Redbirds in a hard-fought 9-4 battle.
Game Recap
The Braves rallied for two runs in both the fourth and sixth innings to narrow the gap to one against the Redbirds. The Braves loaded the bases in the fourth inning for Addison Pettit, who lined an RBI single to the left side of the field, putting Bradley on the board. Following Pettit, Bailey Sample singled to score Austin Comstock, bringing Bradley within reach at 5-2.
In the bottom of the sixth, the Bradley Braves added two more runs. Austin Comstock kicked off the inning with a triple in the left-center gap, bringing Tori Meyer across the plate. Comstock scored on a throwing error, bringing the score to 5-4.

The Braves will travel to Des Moines to take on the Drake Bulldogs for a three-game series starting on April 19th at 5 p.m.
