The Braves come off a 2-1 series loss to the MVC leading Salukis, but were able to crack the code on Maddia Groff. The Braves offense was able to maintain composure at the plate against an NCAA top pitcher per ERA in the final game of the series to take a conference win.
Sydney Kennedy picked up her 13th win of the season and etched her name in the Bradley record books. She picked up her 125th strikeout of the season which put her 10th all-time in Bradley history in single season strikeouts.
On the other side of the ball, Kennedy and Bailey Sample had lone RBI hits this weekend with a double and home run, respectively to push the Braves on the scoreboard.
