Bradley Cross Country Releases Fall 2024 Schedule

Peoria, Ill. - Three home meets, including hosting the Midwest NCAA regional, highlight the Braves' schedule.

 

After a successful first season at the helm, Andrew Carlson heads into his second season as head coach of Bradley Cross Country and Track & Field. 

 

To start off the season, Bradley travels to Iowa for the Hawkeye Invite on August 30th.

 

On September 20th, the Braves host the Bradley Intercollegiate at Detweiller Park. At last year's competition, Bradley placed first in both the men's 4.97 mile and the women's 3-mile championship team results. Thanks in part to Nadia Potgieter (16:11.2), Trixie Wraith (16:29.6), and Ashley Maguire (16:38.0) for placing first, second, and fourth in the 3-mile race. For the 4.97-mile race, Jayde Rosee (24:04.1), Michael Rebello (24:08.7), and Jack Crull (24:20.5) led the Braves with first, third, and fifth-place finishes.

 

On October 4th, Bradley travels to Notre Dame in South Bend for the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invite.

 

Bradley hosts the Bradley Pink Classic on October 18th, where the team's second home meet of the season will be held at the Newman Golf Course. At last year's Bradley Pink Classic, the men placed fourteenth in the 8k red team race with a total team time of 2:04.36. For the women's red team 6k race, they placed 20th with a team time of 1:53.11. Bradley men also placed fourth in the white team 8k with a time of 2:11.04.

 

On November 1st, Bradley travels to Cedar Falls, Iowa, for the Missouri Valley Conference Championships. Last year, Bradley placed second in the women's team 6k and the men's team 8k. For the women, Wilma Nielson was Bradley's highest placer at 6th with a time of 21:00.5. While the men's highest finisher was Michael Rebbelo in 7th with a time of 24.51.7.

 

Following MVC's, Bradley hosts the Midwest Regional on November 15th. Hosting their first Midwest Regional since 2018.

 

After the regionals, the University of Wisconsin hosts the NCAA Championships on November 23rd.
