About the Braves
Bradley is coming off a tough 3-2 loss at Milwaukee, which was their first loss of the season. The Braves, after trailing 2-0 heading into halftime, were able to gain some momentum early in the second half after a good service by Kevin Mejias found some empty space. Both Amari Fowlkes and Mitch Coughlon tried to score before Jared Sinnaeve was able to convert it into his first goal of the season. BU conceded once more when a bouncing ball, seemingly with a life of its own, found its way out of a crowd and past GK Alex Grow. BU managed to add one more goal in the final minute as Yohance Douglas connected with Claudel Ngongang for his first goal of the season. The Braves sit at 1-1-0 on the year and will begin a stretch of playing three straight games at Shea Stadium on Thursday night.

About the Leathernecks
Western Illinois comes in with a record of 0-1-1 and is heading into this match after starting the season with a three-game road trip, which will end here in Peoria. The two previous stops for WIU were at Grand Canyon (L 3-0) and, most recently, a trip to Indianapolis, where they claimed a 1-1 draw against Butler. Western Illinois has thus far been led offensively by Liam Gainey and Tyler Philpott, with Gainey being the lone goal scorer and Philpott providing their only assist. On the defensive end, expect Micah Ramirez to make his third start of the season in goal for WIU.
Bradley vs. Western Illinois can be streamed on ESPN+ and will kick off at 7:00 PM.
