DES MOINES, Iowa -- Connor Hamm blew away the competition at the Zach Johnson Invitational with a record-matching performance, winning his second individual title in three meets on Tuesday.
Hamm tied his own program record in 18- and 54-hole score in Des Moines. Hamm's second round score of 64 and his 54-hole score of 200 matched the program marks he set two weeks ago at the Dolenc Invitational. Hamm's performance resulted in a dominant victory, finishing seven strokes ahead of second-place finisher Dori Lee of Loyola-Chicago. Hamm becomes the first Bradley golfer to win two tournaments in a season since 2017-18, when current men's golf assistant coach
Ethan Brue won the Crusader Collegiate and Derek Dolenc Invitational.
On the team side, Bradley finished tied for second out of 14 teams, deadlocked with hosts and MVC rivals Drake. Sophomore
Carter Stevenson continued his early-season consistency, finishing with a 218 tournament score in a tough field.
