PEORIA, IL – The Bradley Women's Basketball team has revealed their full 2024-25 season schedule, featuring 31 regular season games, with an additional exhibition game to be played at Renaissance Coliseum.
Schedule Rundown
The Bradley Women's Basketball schedule will consist of 31 regular season games, including 11 non-conference and 20 Missouri Valley Conference games (MVC). The Braves will host 14 home games, inside Renaissance Coliseum during the 2024-25 season. They will begin their season at home against the University of St. Francis (Ill.) on Nov. 7. Other notable non-conference match ups include the Braves' facing two Big Ten opponents within a three day span. Bradley will head to the University of Illinois on Dec. 12 and with a quick turnaround, the Braves' will head to Evanston on Dec. 15 to face the Wildcats at Northwestern.
Bradley in the Hatter Classic
To close out non-conference play, the Braves will head to DeLand, Florida to take on Bethune-Cookman and Stetson in the Hatter Classic. The tournament will occur from December 19-20 at Stetson University, which will be played at Edmunds Center. The Braves saw Bethune-Cookman last season at the Georgia State Classic, where the Wildcats beat the Braves' 64-57. As for Stetson, the last time the two organizations played one another was in 2011, where the Hatters' took a 73-63 win over the Braves' at the Winthrop Classic.
Missouri Valley Conference Slate
The Braves will play 20 conference games from Dec. 29 to Mar. 8, to close out the 2024-25 regular season, before heading to Evansville to compete in the 2025 Missouri Valley Conference Women's Basketball Championship. Bradley will start the conference slate on the road against Belmont on Dec. 29, to close out the 2024 calendar year.
With the 20 game schedule layout, the Braves' will only match up with Murray State and Belmont once. The Braves' single match up with the Racers will occur on Feb. 20, when Murray State comes to Peoria. Bradley will travel to Nashville to play against the Bruins' on Dec. 29, which will be the first MVC game of the season, for both programs. Other notable match ups on the schedule for Bradley include, the in-state rival of Illinois State, who will make the trip to Peoria on Feb. 23 and will host Bradley on Jan. 26. The Braves' will also match up with the reigning MVC champions in Drake on Jan 10, where the Bulldogs will make the trip to Renaissance Coliseum and again on Feb. 9, when the Braves' will travel to Des Moines.
