What to Watch

The Braves will look to show off their defensive dominance as they have currently allowed the fewest points per game in the Valley at 57.7 points per game. Bradley will also need to minimize turnovers as the Bears are ranked third in the MVC at forcing turnovers with 17.9. If the Braves can showcase their elite defense and minimize their turnovers this should be a very close match

Key Players to Watch:

• Tamia Perryman (Bradley): Perryman is coming off of back-to-back double-digit point efforts, scoring 19 against Valparaiso and 13 against Illinois State.

• Ellie McDermid (Bradley): McDermid has shown up big in her freshman season and will need to have a big impact on Friday.  In her last two games, she has totaled 15 points, 21 rebounds, and five assists. 

About the Braves

Bradley (8-11, 2-6 MVC) is coming off a 74-58 loss to the Illinois State Redbirds. The Braves kept it close at first, trailing 28-24 at the half with seven lead changes throughout the first two quarters.  However, Bradley struggled in the second half, allowing 23 points in both the third and fourth quarters. Claire McDougall had a standout performance, totaling 15 points and grabbing five boards.

About the Bears

Missouri State (15-4, 7-1 MVC) comes into this game having won their last seven and going 9-1 in their last 10. The Bears are solid on both sides of the ball, ranking fifth in the Valley in points per game with 73.1 while allowing the second-lowest points per game with 63.9.
