PEORIA, Ill. -- It's time to vote for the Prairie Farms Bradley Athlete of the Month! Now that the calendar has shifted to January, it's time to look back at December and vote for which Brave had the best month of action.

Senior Soleil Barnes of the women's basketball team, senior Zek Montgomery of the men's basketball team, fifth-year senior Duke Deen of the men's basketball team and sophomore Claire McDougall of the women's basketball team are the four nominees for Prairie Farms Bradley Athlete of the Month in December.
 
Voting is open until Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. and will be conducted through the @BradleyBraves X account.
 
Soleil Barnes • Sr. • Women's Basketball • Southfield, Mich.
• Scored 10+ points in five of six games in December, including two games of 20 or more points
• Averaged 17 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.5 steals across Bradley's six games in December
• Scored a season-high 26 points against Northwestern on Dec. 15
• Named Missouri Valley Conference Newcomer of the Week on Dec. 9 and Dec. 16 after strong performances against Chicago State, Illinois and Northwestern

Zek Montgomery • Sr. • Men's Basketball • Louisville, Ky.
• Averaged 14 points per game throughout December
• Tallied a then-career-high 22 points in Bradley's conference-opening victory at Southern Illinois on Dec. 3
• Set and tied a career-best in field goals made, making eight shots against Southern Illinois on Dec. 3 and again on Dec. 29 against Valparaiso
• Scored 10 or more points in four of five games in December
 
Duke Deen • 5th • Men's Basketball • Shreveport, La.
• Scored 20 or more points in two of five games in December
• Averaged 16.8 points per game throughout December to lead the Braves
• Tallied at least two three-pointers made in each game in December while shooting 51.4% from three-point range
• Led Bradley in scoring in a victory against top-50 opponent San Francisco (19 pts.) and notched 20 points in a double-overtime victory vs. Valparaiso(21 pts.)

• Tallied three double-digit scoring performances during December
• Grabbed a season-best nine rebounds against Belmont on Dec. 29
• Tallied shooting percentages of 53.6% (FG%), 54.5% (3FG%) and 91.7% (FT%) in December
• Notched two multi-steal games against Bethune-Cookman and Stetson
