PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley University cross country athlete JD Rosslee has been named this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week, announced Tuesday. Rosslee was honored after finishing 12th at the NCAA Midwest Regional and qualifying for the NCAA Cross Country Championships.

The junior from South Africa clocked a time of 30:30.6 in the Men's 10K race to record a 12th-place finish. Rosslee earned one of four individual automatic qualifying spots as one of top four finishers not part of NCAA-championship qualifying teams. He is the first Brave to individually qualify for the NCAA since 2017, when two Braves qualified for the NCAA Championships.

Rosslee's strong performance and academic success have earned him this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete honor.
