The Braves (11-17, 5-12 MVC) are coming off a heartbreaking loss to the Valparaiso Beacons on Thursday. Bradley was trailing by 21 points in the second half and overcame a 15 point deficit in the fourth quarter to take a late lead but gave up a game winning three pointer with seven seconds left on the clock. McDermid scored 15 points, grabbed 10 boards, and had three blocks in the loss.
About the Flames
The Flames (12-14, 9-8 MVC) are 3-3 in their last six games and are coming off a one-point loss to the Illinois State Redbirds on Thursday. Illinois State had two late free throws to go up by one and then fouled UIC with no time left on the clock, but UIC missed both free throws, giving the Redbirds the win.
