Peoria, Ill. - Bradley Women's Basketball dominated the Southern Illinois Salukis, 68-46 on Feb. 2.
A Dominating Start
The Braves and the Salukis came out swinging, but Tamia Perryman's 13 points in the first quarter and eight-point run to start the game helped the Braves take a 22-14 lead heading into the second quarter which they didn't give up for the rest of the game.
Standout Performances for Bradley

Soleil Barnes led the team with 22 points grabbed six rebounds and got one assist. She shot 9-for-16 from the field and was a perfect 2-for-2 from the free throw line.

Tamia Perryman was named the Ameren Illinois Player of the Game. She scored 13 points in the first quarter alone and finished the game with 18 points, six boards, an assist, and a steal.

Ellie McDermid may not have scored many points in this one, but she did lead the team with 10 rebounds, six assists, and a block.
Second Chances
The Braves did a great job of gathering rebounds, grabbing 44 to the Salukis 32 and they made the most of those chances, outsourcing their opponent 11-1 on those second-chance efforts.
Defensive Dominance
Bradley showcased their defensive dominance once again in this one, holding Southern Illinois to 46 points which is 13 points less than they have scored on average this season and the third-lowest point total they have put up this season. The Braves held them to 3-for-16 from beyond the arc and 17-for-52 from the field.
