Peoria, Ill. - Bradley Women's Basketball ended their 2024-2025 regular season with a 64-54 loss to the Missouri State Bears.
A Close Start
The Braves kept it close with the MVC-leading Bears despite not playing their leading scorer. Bradley started the game with a five-point run, but Missouri State battled their way back into the game and went into the second quarter with a 15-12 lead. It was the same story in the second quarter as both teams went back-and-forth with neither team really pulling away from the other. The Bears entered halftime with a 33-29 lead.

Kaylen Nelson had a solid game and was named the Ameren Illinois Player of the Game. She scored 11 points, grabbed five boards, and had a team-leading four steals.

Tamia Perryman also had a great game, scoring 11 points while totaling a team-leading three assists, despite only playing 23 minutes.
A Back-and-Forth Battle
The Braves kept it competitive against the Bears but couldn't generate any sustained momentum in the second half. Bradley finished the third quarter trailing the Bears 49-42. In the fourth quarter, the Braves cut the deficit down to five, but Missouri State held on and ultimately took this one 64-54.
Struggles from the Line
The Braves couldn't capitalize on the free throw battle as both teams took a combined 42 free throws in this one. However, the Braves only made 10 of 18 while the Bears went 21-for-24, including going 8-for-8 in the fourth quarter to help put this game away.
