ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Jack Crull has been named Missouri Valley Conference Athlete of the Week for Men's Track, per the weekly MVC Track & Field Notebook released on April 8.
Crull ran 3:40.51 to win the men's 1500m event at the Stanford Invitational by one-hundredth of a second. Crull also set a new program record in the discipline, edging his own prior program record by just 32-hundredths of a second. Crull's time is the top in the Missouri Valley Conference and ranks second among Midwest Region competitors. His time is also the fifth-fastest among runners qualifying for the NCAA West Preliminaries and ranks 17th in all of Division I Track & Field.
This is Crull's third Track Athlete of the Week honor of his career in Track & Field and fourth across Cross Country and Track & Field. This is Crull's second Athlete of the Week selection of the 2024-25 season as he won Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week on Sept. 3, 2024.
