PEORIA, Ill. – The Missouri Valley Conference postseason accolades have recognized standout performances from Bobby Atkinson and Nick Hosie, highlighting their impact during the 2025 season for Bradley Baseball.
Atkinson Named Second-Team All-MVC
Bobby Atkinson earned Second-Team All-MVC honors after delivering one of the league's most consistent offensive seasons. Starting all 50 games, Atkinson led the Braves with a .333 batting average, collecting 60 hits, 19 doubles, seven home runs, and 41 RBIs. He ranked third in the Missouri Valley Conference in on-base percentage (.460) and also led Bradley in slugging percentage (.578), establishing himself as a key middle-of-the-order threat.
Defensively, Atkinson was perfect in the field, finishing the season with a 1.000 fielding percentage.
Hosie Earns MVC All-Defensive Team Selection
Catcher Nick Hosie was named to the MVC All-Defensive Team after a standout season behind the plate. He led the conference with 22 runners caught stealing, effectively shutting down the opposition's running game. Starting 45 games, Hosie anchored the Braves' defense with a .989 fielding percentage while managing a young pitching staff throughout the season.
Offensively, he chipped in with 38 hits, including 10 doubles and three home runs, while driving in 28 runs.
