PEORIA, Ill. – Seven Braves travel to Texas to compete in the NCAA West First Round, hosted in College Station by Texas A&M, beginning on Wednesday, May 28.
This is the joint-most runners Bradley Track & Field has sent to an NCAA First Round competition, tying the seven runners sent in the 2016 and 2021 seasons.

BREAKING DOWN THE 2025 WEST FIRST ROUND
Jack Crull competes in the First Round of the Men's 1500m Championship at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The first round of the event consists of four heats with 12 runners in each heat. The top five finishers in each heat, plus the next four times outside of the top heat finishers, will advance to the quarterfinals at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
Jamie Phillips and
Jaxson Copelin follow at 7:50 p.m. in the First Round of the Men's 800m Championship on Wednesday. The first round consists of six heats with eight runners in each heat. The top three finishers in each heat, plus the next six times outside of the top heat finishers, will advance to the quarterfinals at 7:05 p.m. on Friday.

Trixie Wraith will compete in the Women's 1500m First Round on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. The first round of the event has the same format as the Men's 1500m First Round, where the top five heat finishers plus the next four times outside of the top heat finisher advance. The quarterfinals will take place at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday.
Nadia Potgieter closes the NCAA Regional, running in the Women's 5000m Semifinals on Saturday at 8:10 p.m., the meet's penultimate event. The semifinals contain two heats of 24 runners. The top five finishers in each heat, plus the next two times outside of the top heat finishers, advance to the Women's 5000m Championship race in Eugene, Ore.
