PEORIA, Ill. -- It's time to vote for the Prairie Farms Bradley Athlete of the Month! Now that the calendar has shifted to May, it's time to look back at April and vote for which Brave had the best month of action.

Abbott Badgley of the softball team are the four nominees for Prairie Farms Bradley Athlete of the Month in April.
Voting opens today at 3:30 p.m., will be open until Friday at 3:30 p.m. and will be conducted through the @BradleyBraves X account.
Mason Breidenbach • Jr. • Baseball • Chesterfield, Missouri
• Tallied at least one hit in six consecutive games from April 13-25, hitting .360 in that span
• Scored at least one run in eight consecutive games from April 13-27
• Posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in 14 of 15 appearances during the month
• Currently leads the team in walks (32) and ranks second on the team in on-base percentage (.422)
Timmy O'Brien • Jr. • Baseball • Park Ridge, Illinois
• Hit 10 home runs in 17 games played in April after having six throughout the first 23 games of the season
• Hit a home run in five consecutive games and in seven of eight games
• Tallied four runs batted in against Western Illinois on April 9 and Illinois State on April 19
• Currently tied for the conference lead in home runs hit with 16, the most hit by a Brave since 2001
Jillian Cosler • So. • Women's Golf • Orland Park, Illinois
• Earned medalist honors at the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golf Championship, qualifying for the NCAA Regional
• Averaged better than her season average in April, averaging 74 strokes per round in the month
• Golfed her lowest 54-hole score of the season at the MVC Championship, finishing with a one-under-par 215
• Becomes first Brave to win MVC Championship since Danielle Lemek in 2014
Abbott Badgley • Sr. • Softball • West Lafayette, Indiana
• Registered a hit in 10 of 15 games during April and hit .378 from April 6-27
• Hit two home runs and drove in seven runs in a Senior Weekend sweep against Evansville
• Tallied two pitching wins in the circle, both coming in a doubleheader against Evansville
• One of three qualified hitters to hit at least .300 on the season
