TEMPE, Ariz. – For the fifth consecutive year, Bradley Tennis has been recognized as an International Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team, while six Braves garnered ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition, per a release from the ITA on Monday.
Anna Belogliadova,
Mariia Pukhina,
Madi Rogers,
Andra Sirbu,
Compassion Tsai and
Ruby Tseng each earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2024-25 season. Belogliadova and Rogers each received honors for the third time. Pukhina and Sirbu each received their second Scholar-Athlete selections. Tsai and Tseng each earned their first ITA Scholar-Athlete award of their careers.
In order to receive ITA All-Academic Team squads must own a 3.2 team grade point average for the 2024-25 school year. Individuals earning ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition required a 3.50 grade point average or better for the academic year.
A management information systems - business analytics major with a 4.0 cumulative grade point average, Belogliadova went 9-12 in doubles play during the season, including going 6-7 with
Madi Rogers. Belogliadova and Rogers achieved four Missouri Valley Conference doubles wins and won MVC Doubles of the Week on April 16.
Rogers, a kinesiology and health science major with a 3.63 cumulative grade point average, went 8-11 in doubles play during the season. Rogers had the most success on the courts with
Anna Belogliadova, going 6-7 with her as her doubles partner. Rogers went 4-4 in conference season for doubles, all with Belogliadova, and won MVC Doubles of the Week on April 16.
Pukhina has a 3.51 cumulative grade point average, majoring in business management and leadership. Pukhina set multiple career-bests in singles competition, going 17-9 on the season. Pukhina dominated Court No. 2 in conference play, winning a program-record-setting seven conference matches to just one loss. Pukhina, the MVC Singles Player of the Week on April 2, earned All-MVC First Team honors on Court No. 2.
A psychology major with a 4.0 cumulative grade point average, Sirbu went 4-6 in singles play and 5-3 in doubles play during Fall tournament action. Sirbu did not compete during the Spring dual season due to injury.
Tsai has a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, majoring in pre-engineering. Tsai saw most of her action in singles play on Court No. 4. Tsai got her first two career conference wins during the conference season, including a match-deciding victory against Drake on March 29.
Tseng, a chemistry major (chemical engineering concentration) with a 3.62 cumulative grade point average, had a standout freshman season on the Hilltop. Tseng registered 15 singles wins, the second-most on the team. Tseng commanded Court No. 3 during conference play, going 6-2. Tseng earned All-MVC First Team honors on Court No. 3, the first freshman to do so since 2019.
