Peoria, IL – Bradley Women's Basketball is set to participate in the 2025 Elevance Health Women's Fort Myers Tip-Off, taking place November 28–29 at Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers, Florida. The Braves will compete in the Shell Division alongside Missouri, Northwestern, and Abilene Christian.
Each team in the Shell Division will play two games against pre-determined opponents, with the full schedule to be announced later this summer. All games will be nationally televised on ION.
Bradley enters the 2025–26 season following a 14-19 campaign and continued growth under third-year head coach Kate Popovec-Goss. The Braves have increased their win total each season under Popovec-Goss, who took over a program that won just four games in 2021–22.
The Shell Division features a strong mix of tradition, experience, and momentum. Missouri welcomes new head coach Kellie Harper, who led Tennessee to 108 wins and four NCAA Tournament appearances over the past five seasons. Junior Grace Slaughter returns after leading the Tigers in scoring at 15 points per game. Northwestern is led by veteran head coach Joe McKeown, who begins his 17th and final season with 777 career wins—seventh-most in NCAA history. The Wildcats return leading scorer Grace Sullivan (10.1 ppg). Abilene Christian is coming off a 22-win season and a run to the WNIT Super 16 under head coach Julie Goodenough. The Wildcats are led by returning All-WAC selection Meredith Mayes.
The Fort Myers Tip-Off has quickly become a premier destination for early-season women's college basketball and will once again showcase top-tier programs from across the country.
Ticket packages and travel accommodations will be announced in the coming weeks. Fans can register for updates and ticket alerts at www.womensfortmyerstipoff.com and follow @IntersportHoops on social media for more.
