NORMAL, Ill. – One year after winning Singles Flight #5 at the Redbird Invitational in her freshman season, Ruby Tseng retained her championship and won Doubles Flight #3 as Tennis wrapped up the 2025 Redbird Invitational in Normal.

The sophomore went a perfect 6-0 across singles and doubles matches over Sept. 26-28. Tseng won her first round singles match in three sets before notching straight set victories in the semifinal and championship matches, including a commanding 6-0, 6-1 victory in the final. 

Tseng's Doubles Flight #3 title came with freshman Ann Hsieh, who made her collegiate debut at the tournament. The pair earned an 8-3 victory in the first round and edged out an 8-7(3) tiebreak win in the semifinals before securing the championship with an 8-0 blanking over UIC's Charlotte Deletioglu and Joanne Hartono.

Elsewhere, Anna Belogliadova and Mariia Pukhina picked up a pair of doubles wins and a third-place finish in Doubles Flight #2. Compassion Tsai won two singles matches and placed third in Singles Flight #4. Overall, the Braves went 6-3 in doubles action and 8-9 in singles play, going 14-12 on the weekend.

Bradley's last scheduled Fall competition of 2025 comes on Oct. 16-19, when the team travels to Urbana-Champaign, Ill., for the ITA Midwest Regional.
