PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley University tennis athlete Ruby Tseng has been named this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week, announced Tuesday. Tseng was honored after going a perfect 6-0 across her doubles and singles matches at the Redbird Invitational over Sept. 26-28.

The sophomore from Taiwan went 3-0 in Singles Flight #5 and 3-0 in Doubles Flight #3 with Ann Hsieh over the three day tournament, winning titles in each Flight. Both championship matches were dominated by Tseng, as she and Hsieh won the Doubles Flight #3 championship match, 8-0, and Tseng won her Singles Flight #5 championship match; 6-0, 6-1. Tseng now leads the Braves in singles wins (five) and doubles wins (four) this season.

Tseng's strong performance and academic success have earned her this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete honor.
