What to Watch

The Braves enter this matchup having won their last three games and hold an 11-6 (4-2 MVC) record. In their last game, Bradley defeated Drake thanks to a strong second half that put the game out of reach for the Bulldogs. Offensively, Bradley remains one of the Missouri Valley Conference's best, ranking fourth in points per game (72.2), holding the conference's fourth-highest field goal percentage (.421) and highest three-point percentage (.337). Defensively, the Braves have also been strong this season, allowing the third-fewest points per game in the MVC (65.5), the fourth-lowest field goal percentage (.409), and the lowest three-point percentage (.248). Bradley has also been one of the more aggressive teams on defense, ranking fourth in blocked shots (3.29 per game) and third in steals (8.47 per game), which has contributed to the Braves having the second-highest turnover margin in the conference (1.59).

Ellie McDermid is coming off her best game of the season after securing her fourth collegiate double-double, her first of the season, totaling 14 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and one block. Maya Foz is also coming off a strong game after leading the team with 17 points while adding four assists, four rebounds, and two steals. Tamia Perryman has scored double-digit points in five of her last six games and has averaged 15.6 points per game over that stretch, along with 20 total rebounds, 14 assists, nine steals, and four blocks. Kaylen Nelson has reached double-digit scoring in every game except the Braves' first game against Judson, in which she scored nine points in just 13 minutes. In her last five games, she's averaging 17.2 points and 4.2 rebounds.

The Panthers are led by Ryley Goebel, who leads the team in points per game at 12.6, field goal percentage at .561, total steals at 31, total blocks at 33, and she is second in rebounds per game at 8.4. Jenna Twedt is also having a strong season, ranking second on the team in points per game with 11.0 while shooting .340 from beyond the arc.
