PEKIN, Ill. – In its first match of the 2026 season, Bradley Tennis battled, but ultimately fell to Butler, 4-3, in a contest that came down to the final match.
The doubles matches saw a win from
Ann Hsieh and
Mariia Pukhina, 6-3, on court two, but the Bulldogs' tiebreak victory on court one and victory on court three earned them the doubles point.
In singles action, Ivanovskaia earned a three-set victory on court one, while Hsieh and
Ruby Tseng both earned two-set wins on courts four and five, respectively.

With today's matchup versus Chicago State cancelled due to weather, Bradley Tennis hits the road for the first time this season next weekend. The Braves will play two matches in Springfield, Mo., first at Missouri State on Jan. 30 and, second, a neutral-site match against South Dakota on Jan. 31 in Springfield.
