The Racers took the lead within a minute of the second quarter beginning, but both teams continued to battle. A late Tamia Perryman jumper gave Bradley a 30-29 lead heading into halftime.

Murray State came out firing in the second overtime, scoring four quick points to open the final five minutes and later going on a seven-point run to take a 93-82 win over the Braves.
Defensive Notes
Despite the loss, Bradley went toe-to-toe with one of the strongest teams in the conference in a game that included 16 lead changes. The Braves outrebounded the Missouri Valley Conference's best rebounding team, 51-43, which allowed Bradley to score 16 second-chance points compared to the Racers' two. The main difference in this one was the charity stripe, as the Braves went 4-for-9 from the line compared to the Racers' 20-for-23.
