PEORIA, Ill. -- It's time to vote for the Prairie Farms Bradley Athlete of the Month! Now that the calendar has flipped to January, it's time to look back at December and vote for which Brave had the best month of action.

Montana Wheeler of the men's basketball team are the nominees for Prairie Farms Bradley Athlete of the Month in December.
Voting opens today at 12:00 p.m., will be open for 48 hours and will be conducted through the @BradleyBraves X account.
Julia Brown • Fr. • Track & Field • Oak Park, Illinois
• Broke the 300m program record with a time of 39.08 at the Cougar Alumni Open on Dec. 5.
• Also ran the third-fastest 60m time in program history (7.83) in her first collegiate track & field meet.
• Brown's 300m time is the fastest in the Missouri Valley Conference this season.
Maya Foz • Fr. • Women's Basketball • Ontario, Canada
• Started all five games for Bradley during December, averaging 25 minutes per game.
• Scored in double figures in four of five games during the month, highlighted by a then-career-high 19 points against Chicago State on Dec. 7.
• Averaged 13.4 points per game during the month, shooting 46.3 percent from the field.
• Earned Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Week honors three consecutive weeks during the month and has won four straight FOTW awards.
Jaquan Johnson • So. • Men's Basketball • Milwaukee, Wisconsin
• Started all six games for Bradley during December, averaging just under 30 minutes per game.
• Scored in double figures in all games during the month and scored at least 19 points in the last five games of the month.
• Shot 50.7 percent from the field and went 38-of-46 from the free-throw line (82.6 percent)
• Tallied 22 steals during the month of December and currently leads the NCAA in steals this season with 52.
Montana Wheeler • Fr. • Men's Basketball • Houston, Texas
• Appeared in all six games for Bradley off the bench during December, averaging 24 minutes per game.
• Scored at least 10 points in four games, headlined by a then-career-high 19 points against Indiana State on Dec. 18.
• Shot 49.1 percent from the field and 40 percent from three-point range.
• Registered 15 assists to just five turnovers during the month for an assist-to-turnover ratio of 3:1.
