PEORIA, Ill. – The Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2026 will include the nationally-ranked 2000 Men's Soccer Team, 2007 Soccer America Coach of the Year and 28-year Bradley Soccer head coach Jim DeRose, three-time All-MVC First-Team softball athlete Madeline Lynch-Crumrine, and NCAA assist leader and 2013 MVC Men's Soccer Player of the Year Wojciech Wojcik.

The Class of 2026 inductees will be recognized during halftime of the men's basketball game versus Illinois State on Saturday, Feb. 21, at Carver Arena. As this game is an MVC Wildcard game for television, the game time will not be determined until 10-14 days prior to the game. The Hall of Fame ceremony will take place three hours before tip-off inside the Renaissance Coliseum practice gym. Additional details will be revealed in the future.

2000 Men's Soccer Team
Widely considered one of the most talented teams of any sport in Bradley history, the 2000 Men's Soccer team, led by fifth-year head coach Jim DeRose, featured four NCAA All-Americans and MLS SuperDraft selections, including Gavin Glinton, Hamid Mehreioskouei, Bryan Namoff and Tim Regan. In total, seven members of the 2000 team earned All-Missouri Valley Conference honors during their careers when the league had as many as 12 teams.

The team was one of four MVC teams to rank in the Top 25 national poll during the season, earning a national ranking in nine of 13 polls during the season and peaking at #11 in the Oct. 23 poll. Bradley knocked off multiple ranked opponents during the regular season, defeating #23 Missouri State in Springfield, and #10 Creighton at Braves Club Field at Becker Park (now Pleasant Valley Middle School). After defeating #5 SMU on an 80th-minute winner from Bryan Namoff in the semifinals of the MVC Tournament, the Braves finished runner-up in the MVC Tournament, falling to #11 Creighton in a four-overtime thriller – a match that remains the longest in conference tournament history (140 minutes, 48 seconds).

Bradley earned an at-large bid into the 2000 NCAA Tournament and hosted UIC in the first round. UIC ultimately defeated the Braves on an 84th-minute free-kick goal, a match in which Bradley was without Gavin Glinton and Tim Regan due to injury, and Hamid Mehrioskouei battled a foot injury.

The 2000 team remains the team program record-holder for goals (57), assists (64), points (178) and road victories (eight). The team's 15 wins on the season stood as the program record until 2007, when the Elite Eight squad notched 16 wins.

2000 Team Members: Nate Adams, Justin Arabadjief, David Baleno, Jon Caldwell, Collin Carson, David Cornthwaite, Ryan Dunn, Thando Dzowa, Omar Feliciano, Patrick Gabrysiak, Tim Giegerich, Gavin Glinton, Duane Glinton, Ryan Glynn, Preston Good, Adam Gross, Ryan Halcrow, Brad Haymaker, Matt Horner, David Lara, Joe Leonhard, Tony Marchegiano, Hamid Mehreioskouei, Sam Mills, Bryan Namoff, Matthew Opgenorth, Tim Regan, Michael Smith, Shannon Taylor, Dan Thorstenson and Craig White.

Coaching Staff: Jim DeRose, Brad Ruzzo

Jim DeRose, Soccer Head Coach (1996-2023)
In 1996, Jim DeRose was hired by Bradley as the youngest head coach in NCAA Division I men's soccer. In his 28 years at the helm, DeRose racked up 267 victories, the second-most victories in MVC Men's Soccer history. Of the program's 324 victories all-time, DeRose was the head coach for 82.41% of them, as of the end of the 2025 season. DeRose coached student-athletes who earned 110 All-MVC awards, 77 MVC Scholar-Athlete awards, 51 United Soccer Coaches All-Region honors and 32 scholastic all-region/district accolades.

The 2007 Soccer America National Coach of the Year, DeRose coached the Braves to seven MVC Championships (regular season and tournament) and seven NCAA Tournament appearances. In that 2007 season, the Braves made a run to the Elite Eight.

In his career, DeRose has led the program to many significant milestones and accolades. DeRose's teams were unbeaten in 24 consecutive overtime games (10 wins, 14 draws) from 2001-2006, a record that is likely to be untouched because of rules eliminating overtime in regular-season games. The Braves were nationally ranked in eight different seasons and won 22 matches versus ranked opponents, including a 1-0 victory against #1 UConn on Sept. 14, 2013, the second victory against the number-one team in the nation in Bradley Athletics history (1960 men's basketball versus Cincinnati). DeRose coached 12 All-Americans, including the only four-year All-American in Bradley Athletics and MVC Men's Soccer history, Gavin Glinton, and 16 academic All-Americans. DeRose mentored the only four-time All-MVC first-team goalkeeper, Chris Dunsheath, and nine student-athletes who were selected in the Major League Soccer SuperDraft, including Glinton, Bryan Gaul and current Bradley Soccer head coach Tim Regan.

Madeline Lynch-Crumrine, Softball (2011-14)
A four-year star for Bradley Softball, Madeline Lynch-Crumrine is one of only two athletes to earn three All-Conference First Team selections in their career (Beth Hawkins – 1984, 1985, 1986 in Gateway Conference) and the only student-athlete to earn All-Conference recognition in all four years. Lynch-Crumrine was an All-Missouri Valley Conference First Team athlete in 2011, 2012 and 2014, and earned All-MVC Second Team honors in 2013. She also earned two All-Mideast Region First Team selections from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association during her career.

Lynch-Crumrine was among the league's best hitters and pitchers during the 2014 season, leading the conference with 11 pitching victories in just 23 appearances (19 starts). She was also the only player in the MVC to tally 18 total victories in the circle and 40 hits at the plate during the season. In total, Lynch-Crumrine went 18-18 in the circle with a 3.99 ERA over 46 appearances with 24 complete games and 216.2 innings pitched. She also hit .299/.356/.453 with five home runs and 25 runs batted in. Her season culminated in her third and final All-MVC First Team selection.

Lynch-Crumrine's two-way prowess during the 2014 season extended into the MVC Tournament, as the senior helped Bradley earn its second-ever NCAA Tournament appearance while being named the Most Valuable Player of the MVC Tournament. In victories over eight-seed Missouri State, top-seed Wichita State and seven-seed Loyola-Chicago, Lynch-Crumrine started each game in the circle and tallied 17.2 innings pitched, allowing five earned runs (2.03 ERA) with two complete games. At the plate, she went three-for-11, driving in the opening run against Missouri State in the tournament's opening round.

Lynch-Crumrine, the third player in MVC history to record at least 45 pitching victories and 150 hits in their career, holds many single-season and career top-10 marks in Bradley Softball history. Her 35 pitching starts in 2014 is the most in a season in program history, while her 31 starts in 2013 and 27 starts in 2012 rank tied for second and 10th, respectively. Currently, Lynch-Crumrine holds the program record for career pitching appearances with 153 and is tied with 2020 Bradley Hall of Fame Inductee Ashley Birdsong for the most pitching starts in program history with 108. At the plate, she finished her career eighth in program history in at-bats (564) and ninth in hits (156).

Wojciech Wojcik, Soccer (2010-13)
A four-year standout for Bradley Soccer, Wojciech Wojcik became one of a handful of Braves to help Bradley qualify for the NCAA Tournament three times, including the program's first-ever consecutive appearances in 2010 and 2011.

Wojcik was a key catalyst for Bradley during the 2013 season. The senior finished the season with six goals and 14 assists – a mark that tied Evansville's Faik Hajderovic for the most assists in the nation. Wojcik became the second Bradley Soccer player ever to earn Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year, joining Joe Donoho in 2007. He also earned All-MVC First-Team honors and was named to the All-Midwest Region First Team by United Soccer Coaches Association. Academically, he was an NSCAA Scholar-Athlete First Team honoree and a USC Scholar All-American. His 2013 total of 14 assists remains the program record through 2025, and he finished his career with the fourth-most assists in program history (22). Wojcik helped the Braves upset #1 UConn on Sept. 14, 2013 in Storrs, Conn. – a win that stands as the second-ever win over a nationally-ranked #1 team by any Bradley program.

Wojcik turned in his best performances of the season once the MVC Tournament got underway. In front of the Bradley faithful at Shea Stadium, Wojcik assisted each of the Braves' three goals to spark the Braves to an overtime win over Evansville in the tournament's opening round. Wojcik and the Braves ultimately won their second conference tournament in four seasons, qualifying for the NCAA Tournament. The national spotlight was no issue for Wojcik, as he assisted the opening goal and scored the Braves' second and third goals, the latter of which was a golden-goal winner in double overtime to upset #3 Northwestern in Evanston. Wojcik also scored the lone goal for the Braves in the second-round loss at California in Berkley.

Following graduation, Wojcik embarked on an eight-year professional soccer career. He helped Indy Eleven to the 2016 Spring Championship in the North American Soccer League and New York Cosmos B to a 2018 Regular Season Championship and Playoffs Championship in the National Premier Soccer League. Wojcik was named one of the USL Championship's Hartford Athletic's inaugural signings in 2019, and he would lead the team in goals with seven. Wojcik finished his career with Chicago House AC in the National Independent Soccer Association before retiring at the conclusion of the 2021-22 season.

Congratulations to the Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2026!
