PEORIA, Ill. -- Senior Mitch Coughlon of the soccer team is the September Prairie Farms Bradley Athlete of the Month, earning the honor after a fan vote.

Coughlon tallied a team-high five goals during the month of September while starting all five games for the Braves. Coughlon recorded two multi-goal games during the month, netting a brace at Eastern Illinois on Sept. 11 and doing so again at UIC on Sept. 25. He leads all Braves with seven goals this season and has scored 18 goals in his career, tied for 11th in program history.

Coughlon earned the Prairie Farms Athlete of the Month accolade after a fan vote on the school's X account. He collected 50 percent of the vote to beat out Travis Gaffney of the cross country team (20 percent), Noelle Steines of the cross country team (20 percent) and Gracie Furlong of the volleyball team (10 percent).
