NORMAL, Ill. – Bradley Tennis returned to Illinois State's Gregory Street Tennis Courts this past weekend to compete in the Redbird Invitational in a preview of the upcoming conference season.
In doubles,
Jada Iverson and
Amber Sharp picked up a first-round victory in Flight #2 before finishing in fourth place in the bracket.
Ruby Tseng and
Denver Johnson also picked up a tiebreaker victory in Flight #3.
Ruby Tseng,
Ann Hsieh and
Amber Sharp all picked up victories in their respective singles flights. After falling in the first round to the eventual Flight #1 Champion, Tseng won her consolation semifinal and consolation final matches to place fifth in the top flight.
Ann Hsieh and
Amber Sharp picked up victories in Flight #3 and Flight #4, respectively.
