PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley University women's golf athlete Peyton Coburn has been named this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week, announced Tuesday. Coburn was honored after placing second at Women's Golf's home tournament, the Coyote Creek Classic, last Sunday and Monday.

The junior from Tulsa, Okla., finished runner-up for the second time at the Coyote Creek Classic on Oct. 4-5, carding a 10-over-par 226 for the tournament. The finish is her first top-10 finish of the season and her second finish in the top 20 in as many tournaments. It is her first top-10 finish since finishing tied for 10th at the 2025 Missouri Valley Conference Championship.

Coburn's strong performance and academic success have earned her this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete honor.
