Offensively, the Braves rank fourth in the conference at 72.6 points per game and hold the second-largest point differential in the MVC at 8.1 points per game. Evansville has struggled this season, posting a 6-18 (4-9 MVC) record and a 3-5 record at home. The Purple Aces are coming off a close 68-65 loss against UIC that came down to a missed last-second three-pointer that would have tied the game. Evansville ranks eighth in the MVC in points per game at 66.2 and seventh in points allowed per game at 74.3. The Purple Aces have also been one of the worst teams in the conference from the field, ranking 10th in field goal percentage at .376 and ninth in field goal defense at .438. However, they have been a strong team from beyond the arc, ranking fifth in the MVC in three-point percentage at .303 and in three-point defense at .305.
