PREVIEWING THE GOLDEN GRIZZLIES
The Oakland Golden Grizzlies are 2-5 on the season, all of which have come on the road. Oakland has lost its last three matches, with its most recent match being a 4-3 loss at Valparaiso on Feb. 15. This Thursday's match will be Oakland's first home match of the season.

This match will mark the sixth all-time meeting between the Braves and Golden Grizzlies. Bradley is 3-2 against Oakland, and the two programs last met on Feb. 11, 2012, when the Braves took a 6-1 victory in Kalamazoo, Mich. This will be the first match between the two that Oakland has hosted, with the prior five meetings either hosted by Bradley or a neutral-site match.

Oakland's best player during the dual season has been Oliwia Klimas, who is 6-1 in singles action and has won six straight matches, all on court three. Edie Hammond has the second-most singles wins with four, all on court four. In doubles, the pair of Hammond and Emilia Jarvinen lead all pairs with four wins.

PREVIEWING THE EAGLES
The Eastern Michigan Eagles are 8-3 on the season and have won their last two matches. The Eagles began the season on a six-match winning streak and followed with a three-match losing streak before their current win streak. Last weekend, Eastern Michigan secured two road victories, winning 4-3 at DePaul and 5-2 at Butler.

Friday's match will mark the fourth all-time meeting between the Braves and Eagles. Eastern Michigan has taken two of the prior three meetings, but Bradley took the most recent meeting on Feb. 13, 2021, winning 4-1 at The Clubs at River City. Prior to 2021, the two programs had not faced each other since 1994. Eastern Michigan won the lone meeting in Ypsilanti, winning 7-2 on March 28, 1992.

Three Eagles – Cylova Zuleyka Hukmasabiyya, Matilde Parreira and Pehal Kharadkar – each have 10 singles wins on the 2025-26 season, while two more players have nine wins. In doubles, Parreira and Sabrina Tolstova.
