Mya Wardle of the women's basketball team is the February Prairie Farms Bradley Athlete of the Month, earning the honor after a fan vote.
Wardle started all eight games for Bradley during February and averaged 10.3 points per game. The sophomore from Peoria scored a career-high 25 points against Indiana State in Terre Haute on Feb. 7, making eight of her 12 field goal attempts and shooting seven-for-eight from three-point range. Wardle earned Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week and Newcomer of the Week awards on Feb. 9 after she averaged 20.5 points per game versus Northern Iowa and Indiana State, doing so while shooting 66.7 percent from the field and 84.6 percent from three.
Wardle earned the Prairie Farms Athlete of the Month accolade after a fan vote on the school's X account. She collected 74.6 percent of the vote to beat out Sohrab Rezaei of the baseball team (10.2 percent), Mariia Pukhina of the tennis team (8.5 percent) and Nadia Potgieter of the track & field team (6.8 percent).
