Peoria, IL. — Bradley Athletics announced that revenue-sharing support for Bradley Basketball will now be managed in-house, with all basketball-specific gifts made directly through Bradley Athletics to support NIL, revenue sharing and other program priorities. As part of this transition, the Home of the Brave and Be Brave collectives will no longer serve as the direct source of NIL funding for Bradley basketball student-athletes. 

Both groups played an important role during a changing period in college athletics, and Bradley Athletics is grateful for the leadership, generosity and support they provided. Bradley Athletics extends sincere appreciation to Home of the Brave leadership Steve Cicciarelli, Joe Messmore, Ryan Pierson and Matt Wiesner, as well as Be Brave leadership Courtney Meischner. 

Revenue-sharing support for Bradley Basketball will be managed in-house by Bradley Athletics. The updated structure provides a more direct and coordinated way for supporters to help Bradley Men's Basketball and Bradley Women's Basketball compete at the highest level.

Gifts will support travel, recruiting, scheduling, program operations, student-athlete support, revenue sharing and other strategic priorities.

This structure provides a tax-deductible giving opportunity as permitted by law, something the collectives were not able to provide. As gifts are made directly through Bradley University, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, supporters may receive charitable tax benefits. Donors should consult their tax professional for individual tax guidance.

Supporters may make gifts of any amount directly to Bradley Men's Basketball or Bradley Women's Basketball online through Bradley Athletics.
