PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley Women's Golf has announced the 2026-27 schedule, highlighted by the annual Coyote Creek Classic and a mix of new high-level tournaments and familiar competition.

The season is also headlined by the appointment of Kara Blair as the program's fourth head coach since 1997. Blair, who was named to the post on June 9, replaces seven-year head coach Halley Morell, who was tabbed as an assistant coach for Nebraska's women's golf program during the offseason.

Bradley's first tournament under Head Coach Blair will take place at a familiar site. The team will open the year at the A-Ga-Ming Invitational in Kewadin, Mich., on Sept. 6-7. This marks the fourth straight season that the season opens with Central Michigan's tournament. Last season saw the Braves place second as a team with five Braves placing 20th or better.

The team's next three tournaments will all be familiar for the Braves, the first of which comes on Sept. 13-15 at the Wisconsin Badger Invitational in Madison, Wis. The team placed fourth in last year's event, carding the second-lowest tournament score in program history at 875. 

Bradley closes September with Iowa's Diane Thomason Invitational on the 28th and 29th. Bradley placed tied for 10th in last year's tournament at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City. However, the 2026 tournament will take place at Davenport Country Club in Davenport, Iowa, due to renovations at Finkbine Golf Course.

Bradley comes home for the sixth annual Coyote Creek Classic at Coyote Creek Golf Club in nearby Bartonville. Bradley placed second as a team in last year's tournament, making it four straight years with a top-three team finish at Coyote Creek. Of the eight Braves that competed for team and individually, seven placed in the top 20 and all eight placed in the top 21. This year's event will be co-hosted by Bradley's men's and women's golf programs. This marks the first time Bradley's golf programs have scheduled a co-hosted home tournament since the 2019 season, when the program's were to host the Bradley Spring Invitational at WeaverRidge Golf Club before it was cancelled on account of weather.

The Braves close the fall slate with the Edisto Island Invitational, hosted by the College of Charleston, on Oct. 19-20. The tournament will take place on Edisto Island, positioned on South Carolina's east coast southeast of Charleston. This will be Bradley's first trip to South Carolina since the fall of 2018, when the squad competed in the Golfweek Program Challenge on Pawley's Island.

The spring of 2027 begins with the team's annual trip to Rio Verde, Arizona, for Western Michigan's Rio Verde Collegiate on Feb. 19-21. The Braves have competed in 22 editions of Western Michigan's desert tournament prior to this season-- a streak that spanned since 2004. Last year's trip was highly successful for the Braves, culminating in the program's lone team title of the 2025-26 campaign after rallying from six strokes down on the final day.

Bradley will then travel to Houston for the Wildcat Invitational, hosted by Houston Christian, on March 8-9. This is the team's first Texas trip since 2022-23, when the squad competed in Houston Christian's Husky Invite.

The Braves make final preparations for the MVC Championship at the Purdue Boilermaker Spring Classic on April 11-12. This is the third straight season Bradley will make the trip to West Lafayette.

The 2027 MVC Championship, taking place on April 18-20, will be held at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill., for the second consecutive year. Bradley finished second as a team in the 2026 MVC Championship, and all five Braves placed in the top 20 for the first time since 2004.
